Indian Cuisine consists of a variety of regional and traditional
Cuisines native to India. Given the diversity in soil, climate,
culture, ethnic groups, and occupations, these cuisines vary
substantially and make use of locally available spices, herbs,
vegetables, and fruits. Indian food is also heavily influenced by
religion, in particular Hinduism and Islam. There are 31 distinct
Regions in India, EACH one with it’s own unique dishes and flavors.
I have included a few of my Restaurant favorites here. Clarified
Butter has been their cooking fat of choice forever. India is OLD,
their Naan Bread has been a staple for over 2,500 years.
